Every boat is different. We inspect the condition of the boat, discuss your priorities, and recommend the level of service that makes the most sense for the boat and your budget.
Gelcoat & Fiberglass Repair
We repair localized damage including chips, cracks, dock rash, gouges, impact damage, exposed fiberglass, and damaged laminate.
Depending on the extent of the damage, the repair may include removing compromised material, fiberglass reinforcement, fairing, digital gelcoat color matching, gelcoat application, sanding, compounding, and polishing.
Damage below the surface is not always visible until the area is opened. If additional fiberglass damage, voids, delamination, or prior repairs are discovered, the condition will be documented and reviewed before the scope of work changes.
Gelcoat Correction & Restoration
Faded, chalky, and heavily oxidized gelcoat often requires more than a quick polish or coat of wax.
Depending on the condition of the gelcoat, restoration may include machine sanding, compounding, polishing and the application of a protective polymer sealant or ceramic coating. The goal is to remove damged and oxidized material, restore gloss and color, and provide lasting protection.
A test spot may be performed before work begins to determine what level of correction is required and what results are realistically achievable.
Boat Detailing
Detailing services are tailored to the condition of the boat and the areas that need attention.
Services may include exterior washing, hull and topside cleaning, non-skid cleaning, vinyl cleaning, glass, flooring, compartments, brightwork, polishing, and protective sealant.
Some boats need a complete detail, while others may only need attention in specific areas. We will help determine the most practical approach after reviewing the boat with you.
How Pricing Works
Pricing depends on the size of the boat, its condition, accessibility, and the amount of labor required.
Photos are helpful for an initial review, but they do not always show oxidation, surface defects, previous repairs, or hidden fiberglass damage. An in-person inspection may be required before a firm estimate can be provided.
For gelcoat correction and restoration projects, a small test spot may be performed to determine the process required and the level of improvement that can be reasonably be achieved.
Project Timelines
Project timelines vary depending on the service and the condition of the boat.
Smaller detailing or repair projects may be completed in a day. Extensive correction, restoration, fiberglass repair, or gelcoat work may require several days.
A more accurate timeline will be provided after the boat has been inspected and the scope of work has been established.
Request an Estimate
Send several clear photos, along with the year, make and model of the boat and a brief description of the work you would like evaluated.
For damage repairs, include one photo showing the entire side or area of the boat and several close-up photos of the damage from different angles.
